Tuesday was a bittersweet day for the country. Inner Mongolia autonomous region celebrated its 70th birthday on that day with festivities and events. But by evening the mood turned sober as news of an earthquake in Sichuan left the nation in shock. This week also marks a transition from summer to autumn. Let's take a look back at the past week.
