October 12, 1951: Selected Works of Mao Zedong Volume I published
On October 12, 1951, The Selected Works of Mao Zedong Volume I was published. Volume II, Volume III, Volume IV were published in April 1952, April 1953 and September 1960, respectively. The publications set off a nationwide peak of studying Mao Zedong works.
