First Olympic parade brings Tokyo to standstill

Saori Yoshida, right, women's wrestling champion, waves from an open-car as Japanese Olympians have the first ever homecoming parade down the main street of Tokyo's Ginza shopping district, Aug 20, 2012, to honor their achievements at the London 2012 Olympic Games. With Gold medalits leading the parade, 76 medal-winning athletes paraded down the boulevard lined with hundreds of thousands of cheering, flag-waving well-wishers. Yoshida won her third consecutive gold medal in the women's wrestling. [Photo/CFP]
