During the Runfire Cappadocia, more than 200 km will be completed over 6 days and runners will take on a stage each day. On a route whose altitude is sometimes as high as 1,700 meters and sometimes lower than 900 meters.
Runfire Cappadocia is accredited by Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB), one of the world's most prestigious mountain marathons and the athletes who complete the competition will get four points for the high difficulty and have the chance to participate in other marathons around the globe.
The 54-year-old Mustafa Kiziltas who finished first in the Lycian Way Ultra-Marathon in both 2010 and 2011 told Xinhua,"I participated in the race to challenge my limits. I really love ups, downs, asphalt, sand and stabilized road variety. I think I will have great fun during the contest in Cappadocia."
