Bangladeshi PM expands cabinet

DHAKA, November 28 (Xinhua) -- Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Monday expanded her cabinet by inducting two new ministers, bringing the number in the cabinet to 45.
The two ministers are Suranjit Sengupta, who is a member of ruling Awami League's advisory council, and Obaidul Kader, a presidium member.
Portfolios of the ministers were not immediately available.
State Minister for Environment and Forest Dr Hasan Mahmud was elected to full minister.
Bangladeshi President Zillur Rahman administered the oath to the new ministers at Bangabhaban (President House).
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formed her government in January 2009 after her party's landslide victory in parliamentary elections held in December 2008.
