Colombo - Sri Lankan police arrested an English cricket supporter after he ran naked onto the field Sunday during the first day of the second test between Sri Lanka and England.

The streaker left the pitch at Colombo's Sinhalese Sports Club but was later caught by police and arrested.

Media reports said it was the first time a streaker has invaded a cricket field in Sri Lanka.
