About IOPF

Organized by Changsha government and undertaken by Changsha Evening News Group, a photo festival named "International Orange Photo Festival (Changsha, China) " will be held from October 22 to 29, 2010. In response to the call of Hunan provincial government to construct "A Province of Culture" and that of Changsha government to build "A City of Culture", this event aims to grow into one of a number of influential and creative cultural projects so as to promote the municipal and provincial economy, to expand the influence of Changsha, to strengthen its communication and development in the field of international art, and eventually to increase the status of cultural industry in national economy.

About Changsha
Changsha, also called "star city", is the capital city of Hunan Province.As an important city of an ancient kingdom Chu, this city so far has unearthed many important cultural relics such as Ma Wangdui Han tomb and Zou Malou bamboo slips, reflecting its long and deep Chu cultural heritage.
