Tickets for Universiade events went on sale on July 11 at 31 outlets of China Merchants Bank (CMB) in Shenzhen, a press conference was told on July 11. Tickets are also available at 10 CMB outlets in Dongguan, Guangzhou, Foshan, Beijing and Shanghai.

They are also available at Shenzhen Airlines ticket offices, Shenzhen Youyi bookstores, Shenzhen Concert Hall and Shenzhen Poly Theater.

Marine check tightened for Universiade

The Shenzhen Marine Administration has established a joint mechanism with other departments to tighten aquatic inspections to ensure Universiade safety.

The administration will establish five mobile inspection stations at Chiwan Bay, Dapeng Bay, Daya Bay and Fanshi water way in cooperation with public security, transport and fishery authorities to inspect vessels, the administration said June 27.

China pledges food safety for Universiade

China on Thursday pledged greater efforts to ensure food safety during the 26th Summer Universiade, which will be held from Aug 12 to Aug 22 in the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
Local authorities will severely deal with businesses operating without food licenses and registration around game venues, transport hubs, tourist spots, and on busy streets.

Universiade Village Polyclinic to open on Aug 1st

The Universiade Village Polyclinic will be officially opened on August 1st and closed on August 26th, which is expected to provide free medical services for more than 20,000 registered card holders.
