Mongolia to 2 two athletes to Winter Paralympics

ULAN BATOR - Para athletes E. Zorig and N. Sukhbaatar of Mongolia will leave for Canada on March 6 to take part in the 2010 Winter Paralympics to be held March 12-21 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Apart of them, Mongolia's national team comprises N. Sandagdorj, a coach, and N. Erdenetsetseg, a doctor, in accordance with the Mongolian National Paralympic Committee (MNPOC).

The official group consists of N. Khurelbaatar, State Secretary of Health Ministry; Ch. Byambaa, vice president of MNPOC; and N. Oyunbat, MNPOC's secretary-general.

Farewell ceremony took place Tuesday in the State Department of Physical Culture and Sports. During it, a head of the Department Ch.Naranbaatar wished the athletes success and granted a state flag to E. Zorig who has been appointed the flag bearer.

The Mongolians will take part in cross-country skiing.
