From November 16 to 21, the 15th China International Hi-Tech Fair (High-Tech Fair) was held in Shenzhen. The Shanxi Pavilion attended the fair and brought 32 high-tech achievements. In addition, a series of negotiation and matching activities organized by Taiyuan, Changzhi, Yuncheng and other groups from the Shanxi Pavilion were efficient, pragmatic and productive.

This year, all the matching and negotiation activities of the Shanxi Pavilion were organized by each city according to their own needs, without special contracts. During the fair, the Taiyuan branch mission negotiated with Hong Kong Yifei Group based on the city’s garbage and recycling economy project. Yangqu county negotiated with the Chinese Emerging Industry Institute on matching projects concerning the Cultural Industrial Park, LED Industrial Park and logistics industry. The Taiyuan science and technology department also communicated with the Shenzhen municipal development and reform commission about the implementation of urban public electric cars. Changzhi took advantage of the fair to build a platform to expand investment and develop foreign trade.

In addition, Yuncheng signed two projects during the fair. Hejun Junda Aluminum Co and Tianjin Hengtong Car Material Co signed a cooperation project for five million sets of alloy wheels, while Shanxi Xinsheng Coal Chemical Co and Hong Kong Xinyi Aggregated Investment Holdings signed a project of 1.2 million tons of methanol and 900,000 tons of DME (dimethyl ether).
