West China's largest cold-chain logistics center launched

The ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of West China's largest cold-chain logistic center was held in the Qingbaijiang district of Chengdu, Sichuan province, on Friday.

With an investment of 2.5 billion yuan, the Chengdu Silverplow Cold-Chain Logistics Center for Agricultural Products is a major project of Chengdu Silverplow Low-temperature Logistics Co., Ltd.

It will consist of a cold storage with a total capacity of 300,000 tons, a 160,000-sq m distribution center, the CA storage, high-temperature storage and general warehouses covering 100,000 sq m and supporting facilities such as railway lines.

The logistics center, located in a bulk cargo logistics park, is believed to upgrade the cold-chain logistics industry of West China.
