D. Awards
1. Public Service Advertisement of the Year
◇ One gold, two silvers, three bronzes and several shortlists from each category (Film, Press, Radio and Outdoor).
◇ Each winner work will be presented a trophy, a certificate and bonus.
◇ Each shortlist will be presented a certificate.
2. Creative Public Service Advertisement Award
◇ Award theme: Low Carbon Age
◇ One gold, two silvers, three bronzes and several shortlists from each category (Film, Press, Radio and Outdoor).
◇ Each winner work will be presented a trophy, a certificate and bonus.
◇ Each shortlist will be presented a certificate.
E. Entry Eligibility
1. Entries for Public Service Advertisement of the Year must be designed for public service and have been released in media between 1st July 2009 and 30th June 2010.
2. Entries for Creative Public Service Advertisement Award must be designed for public service and have not been released in media before.
3. All awards are open to entries throughout the world in either English or Chinese language.
F. Entry Categories and Requirements
1. Film Category MPEG or AVI files required; maximum length of 60 seconds; file name shall be the title of the entry; all film entries shall be only accepted as single-piece entries.
2. Press Category (Newspaper & Magazine) JPG files required; no less than 300 DPI; CDMYK color mode; file name shall be the title of the entry.
3. Radio Category MP3 or WMA files required; maximum length of 120 seconds; each entry shall be attached with a text; file name shall be the title of the entry; all radio entries shall be only accepted as single-piece entries.
4. Outdoor Category JPG files required; no less than 300 DPI; CDMYK color mode; file name shall be the title of the entry.
G. Entry Fee and Deadline
1. All awards are FREE for entries in order to foster healthy social atmosphere,
2. All entry files, documents and related materials must be uploaded no later than 31st August 2010.
H. Entry Submission Procedure
All oversea entries must be submitted online. Please set up a folder in ftp://ciaf.chinadaily.net.cnand save your entry and Appendix 1 in the folder. Please named the folder with your company’ name. I. Special Attentions
1. Entries for Public Service Advertisement of the Year must have been released in media and original copies may be required if necessary.
2. Agency or individual information shall not be appeared in the content of entry.
3. One entry shall only be submitted by one party, i.e. Agency or Production Company, which should be agreed between the parties concerned prior to the submission.
4. Entries shall be submitted by the copyright owner. Other agency or production company or authorized party shall not submit the entry before legally obtaining the authorization from the copyright owner. Otherwise entrant shall shoulder the legal obligation and the award will be withdrawn.
5. Entrant shall shoulder the responsibility of legal problems such as the right of portrait, copyright and the right of trade marks etc related to the entry.
6. Entry shall not be refunded; China Advertising Association has the entitlement to exhibit and publish the submitted works.
7. All awards shall be presented at the 17th CIAF. The awarding ceremony will take place on the evening of 21 October 2010 from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
