Pakistan will send a large commercial delegation to the China-South Asia Expo, scheduled to be held from June 12 to 16 this year in Kunming, Yunnan province to strengthen commercial connections with China informed Masood Khaled, Pakistan’s ambassador to China.

Khaled said, Pakistani delegation will exhibit more varieties of products such as textiles, sportswear, medical products and herbal medicines in the expo.

He highly praised the Belt and Road Initiative raised by Chinese President, Xi Jinping.. "The most important feature of the Belt and Road Initiative is, its openness and inclusiveness," the ambassador mentioned.

"The initiative embodies the concept of common economic development based on reciprocal cooperation," he said.

Khaled also pointed that the Belt and Road Initiative will connect the Asia-Pacific, Central Asia, Middle East and Europe and bring unprecedented political and economic dividends.

He added that Pakistan will play its role to contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative through implementing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
