Kunming, known as Yunnan province's "spring city", held a meeting on March 18, to prepare for the coming China-South Asia Expo.

The meeting released a plan on how to clean up the city with the aim of beautifying the city for the benefit of visitors to the expo and to leave a good impression.

The annually held China-South Asia Expo started in 2012 and will be held from June 12 to 16 this year. It will set up a dozen pavilions capable of holding 6,000 stands on a ground of 100,000 square meters, a large increase compared to last year's six pavilions and 3,000 stands.
