The Tianjin Port Culture and Media Co, a subsidiary of Tianjin Port Group, recently hosted the first selection competition for the 2014 Tianjin football baby tryouts in the Tianjin Binhai Club, which is located in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area.
This event was one of the featured events at the fifth Tianjin Harbor Tourism Festival, and was held by the Tianjin tourism administration and the Tianjin Port Group.
Thirty-plus candidates joined the selection competition, and after three stages in the selection process – including "self-introduction", "Image presentation" and "talent show" – twenty players successfully moved on to the next round of the competition.

It is reported that there will be a series of selection competitions in the Tianjin 2014 football baby tryouts over the next few days, and after the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final competition, the champion, the silver medalist, and third place will be announced.
In addition, there are several other awards including "popularity baby", "photogenic baby", "outstandingly talented baby", "dynamic baby" and "beautiful baby" which will be selected.
