Jiang Fengrong--Taishan stone inscription expert

Jiang Fengrong, is a former vice deputy chief of Taishan Mountain Scenic Area Management Committee and museums and cultural researcher.

As an expert on Taishan rock carvings, artifacts and literature, Jiang has been studying rock carvings for several decades and never tired of. He has touched more than 2,000 carvings.

Jiang commited tirelessly to do survey and research of the Taishan stone and has provided much first-hand information for in-depth studies. In addition, case studies on Taishan stone has also made some important breakthroughs.

Since 1982, Jiang has created and copublished Taishan Stone Filmography (five volumes), Taishan Filmography, Lingyin Temple, and Taishan Classic Inscriptions.
