SPC, Bolivia supreme court sign MOU

The head of China's top court met with his Bolivian counterpart on Nov 23 to sign a memorandum of understanding.

Zhou Qiang, chief justice and president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) of China, said the visit of Pastor Mamani, chief justice of the Supreme Court of Bolivia to China was short but fruitful.

Zhou hoped the two countries can deepen exchanges and cooperation, and take their relationship in the judicial sector to a new high.

Exchanges of judicial personnel at various levels will be strengthened, according to the memorandum.

Exchanges of court Information and resources should also be expanded, especially in terms of judicial procedures, judicial reform, typical case identification and court informatization.

Both countries should open exhibitions to demonstrate their culture and history in the legal sector, according to the memorandum.

China's National Judges College and its Bolivian counterpart will also exchange judges and improve bilateral training programs.
