The Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co has announced that it will have several key projects in 2013 to add 157,000 square meters to its green area, the Shanxi Evening Newspaper reported last Sunday.

It plans to build an industrial remains park this year, as a support move for a greening effort of the company museum and to show the company’s cultural background. There will be a botanical garden covering a 12,000 sq m area that will have almost 100 different types of plants. And, a 1000-meter forest belt the company intends to add will provide a more livable environment for people living around the factory.
