The Shanxi provincial trade committee says it expects to take part in around 10 exhibitions, in 2013, either in other provinces or other countries.

It announced the decision to participate in the Qinghai International Halal Food Exhibition,the Taiwan Cross-Straits Food Exhibition, American Summer International Quality Food Exhibition, and Hanover Industrial Exhibition, at a Shanxi trade promotion conference, on Feb 28.

The committee will put a lot of emphasis on the 3rd Distinctive Agricultural Products Exhibition and do some planning on the overseas Shanxi exhibition. It also plans to offer some suggestions to the provincial government on increasing the number of trade promotions, establishing a Shanxi exhibition office, and related support policies.
