Qixia bagua drum dance

The bagua drum dance (eight trigrams drum dance) is a Taoist dance that originated from Taoist ceremonies in Qixia, Shandong province.

It was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2008.

Chenguan flower drum dance

The flower drum dance is popular in Chenguan town in Dongying, Shanghe county in Jinan and its surrounding areas. It was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2008.

Dragon taige dance

Taige, a folk dance that originated in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), is performed with boys and girls in costumes standing high on plank platforms and other people carrying poles below parading on the streets.

Dragon taige combines dragon dance and taiga performance. It is popular in Sanguanmiao village in Linyi, Shandong province.

The performance is accompanied by gongs, drums and other percussion instruments.

It was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2011.
