Steamed bun making competition held in Rizhao

A huabobo making competition was held on Jan 12 in Donggang district of Rizhao, East China's Shandong province, displaying the local delicacy in various shapes.

Huabobo, literally meaning flour flower, refers to flower-shaped steamed buns. The time-honored treat is a must have on special occasions, such as festivals, weddings and birthdays, in many parts of Shandong province. Serving it is an expression of good wishes for prosperous and healthy life.
