Shandong showcases art from across China

The launch ceremony for an exhibition of artwork by artists from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China, was held on Sept 4 at the Shandong Art Museum in the city of Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province.

Lasting until Sept 18, the ongoing exhibition displays 108 ink and oil paintings by artists such as Liu Dawei, Xu Qingfeng, Cai Haojie, and Liu Fuye, featuring various subjects and styles, including western oil paintings, abstract oil paintings and Chinese landscapes.

The exhibition aims to present the richness and diversity of Chinese culture, as well as to promote art and culture exchanges between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.

The exhibition will also be held in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Beijing, following the Shandong event.
