Qingyuan tourism service center opens

On March 1, construction of The Qingyuan Tourism Service Center was completed and a celebration show, organized by the municipal government, was held in the evening.

Those who attended the evening show were joined by leaders including Chen Jiaji, secretary-general of the CPC Qingyuan Municipal Committee, Deng Guangrong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Qingyuan Municipal People's Congress, and Wang Dekun, vice mayor of Qingyuan. Over 30 media groups from Guangdong province and beyond were also present at the event.

Construction of the 152,824 square-meter service center cost 79 million yuan, and is one of the 10 key projects carried out by the municipal government. The center was designed to be a tourism hub for inquiries, exhibitions, dining, shopping, car rentals, hotels and transportation. The Yujin Street located at the center is a super service complex comprising of Zhuruzheng Park, inquiry offices, shopping arcades and luxury residential areas, and is set to become a Qingyuan tourism landmark.
