Kunshan city won a provincial-level prize for its achievements in the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Zone.

The zone covers an area of 1 million square meters. At present, two pavilions and four warehouses have been completed, and another two exhibition halls and an office building are under construction. In addition, other projects relating to culture, business and tourism are scheduled to start, covering a total area of 340,000 sq m.

To date, the zone has signed strategic contracts with six Taiwan institutions including the Chinese National Federation of Industries, Taiwan External Trade Development Council, and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturer’s Association.
