Two-day tour of Zhouzhuang and folk customs
Day One:
Morning: Visit Zhouzhuang ancient town – Watch da lian xiang, a traditional Chinese dance – Visit Zhang’s House and Shen’s House – Shop for Zhouzhuang-style handicrafts
Lunch: A homemade Wanshan “eight bowls” meal
Afternoon: Travel on wooden boats and listen to folk songs – Shop around handicraft street – Listen to Kun opera, the “father of a hundred operas”
Night: Watch Zhouzhuang in Four Seasons, a large-scale show which demonstrates native and primitive life in a water town – Sleep at a Zhouzhuang-style folk inn
Day Two:
Morning: Visit Jinxi Ancient Town–Visit the Ancient Brick Museum–Visit the first Antique Pavilion of East China–Admire all kinds of pottery in the Dark-Red Enameled Pottery Museum
Lunch: Dine at the time-honored Aozao Restaurant
Afternoon: Tour Tinglin Park–Appreciate the “Three Treasures of Kunshan”: Kunshan Stone, Jade Flower, and Twin-Corolla Lotus–Excursion on Jade Mountain
