Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development released the 4th batch of 2012 Jiangsu Green Building Evaluation Label Projects. Huaqiao International Information City and Huaqiao International Urban Garden won one-star green building labels.

Since Huaqiao received its first green building label in 2010, 12 projects covering building areas of 1,360,000 square meters have won the honors. 1,640,000 sq m green buildings are getting built. The total green building area is expected to extend to 7,000,000 sq m at the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-15).
