Farmers in a new age need new ideas and new technology. Distance education has become a "magic weapon" for developing modern agriculture in Sinan county, Tongren city.

Approximately 3,600 distance lessons have helped more than 80,000 farmers gain new agricultural knowledge in 27 villages of Sinan county.

So far, distance education facilities at 122 sites have been updated. Specialized personnel are being recruited and trained. They are responsible for teaching management, course development and facility maintenance.
