The First Tea Culture Expo in Hebei concluded on Sunday, with total trading volume exceeding 60 million yuan.

The first provincial fair focusing on tea started on June 13, and offered a platform for 200 companies involved in the tea industry, of which 98 percent achieved their goal.

More than 120,000 people visited the four-day fair where they were offered the full range of tea varieties as well as supporting services such as packaging.

Companies attending the event expressed their cooperation intention for 126 projects, worth a total of 120 million yuan.

The success of the fair means that it will become an annual event.
