A university in Hebei province is the latest to benefit from the support of the Ministry of Land and Resources, enabling it to surge forward in the field of land resources.

The ministry and the Hebei government are set to cooperate in improving Shijiazhuang University of Economics in the long term. They will give preferential policies for the university when they introduce talents and key majors and establish laboratories – in addition to building a new campus.

The ministry will give special guidance for the development of key majors such as geological resources and engineering and resources management, and will make it a training center for talents in the administration of land and resources.

The cooperation will be led by the provincial government and supported by the ministry.

Four local universities have already received assistance from the provincial government and ministries: Hebei University, Yanshan University, Hebei University of Engineering and Agricultural University of Hebei.

The cooperation will improve higher education in the province.
