Clean water program to stay

ITT, a US high-technology engineering and manufacturing company, announced that it will continue to cooperate with the China Women's Development Foundation (CMDF) on the "ITT Watermark" China program in Hebei, Yunnan provinces and Inner Mongolia autonomous region, which aims to help about 5,200 students and teachers to enjoy clean drinking water.

Mike Kuchenbrod, president of ITT China&India, said: "We feel honored to continue the program with our partner to help Chinese youngsters understand the importance of water. We want more students and teachers in poor areas in China to benefit from this program."

ITT donated $200,000 to eight schools in Jiuangsu, Yunnan and Henan provinces for building water purification facilities and wash rooms in 2010.
