Team Thule, representing France and Sweden and which won the 2011 adventure racing world championship, took top honors in the Zunyi Outdoor Challenge in Guizhou province on the weekend. Team Peakadventure, representing Australia and France, finished second while New Zealand's Sportzhub.com was third. The event also marked the best showing for Chinese teams, with five ranked among the top eight finishers.
