Guizhou province plans to build 300 new public kindergartens and enlist 5,000 additional kindergarten teachers to solve kindergarten entrance difficulties across the province, Xinhuanet.com reported.

Kindergarten education has long been a weak point in Guizhou's education system. In 2012, the number of kids in kindergartens in Guizhou reached 980,000. Though the amount was 100,000 more compared to those of 2011, many children still do not have the opportunity to go to kindergartens.

If the plan is successfully implemented in 2013, 350,000 more kids in the province will be able to receive preschool educations.
