Guizhou to build six new airports by 2015

The Guizhou provincial government plans to build six new airports by 2015, creating a total of 14 airports, to complete a civilian airport network with comprehensive coverage.

Guizhou will make efforts to develop Guizhou Longdongbao International Airport into a hub airport in western China.

Longdongbao Airport is one of the busiest airports in Guizhou province. Among the province’s total annual passenger throughput of 14 million, Longdongbao Airport accounts for 13 million, with cargo throughput reaching 130,000 tons.
