Since the beginning of this year, Hechi has achieved remarkable results in the overall promotion of epidemic prevention and control measures, as well as bolstering its economic and social development. From January to November, the city's industrial output value of enterprises above designated scale reached 40.53 billion yuan ($6.2 billion), a year-on-year increase of 8 percent.

Daren Industrial Park, the main focus for the city in implementing industrial transformation and upgrading, has made great contributions to Hechi's success. It completed an output value of 2.73 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 211 percent, and generated 72 million yuan in tax revenue, a year-on-year increase of 232 percent.

In recent years, with the strong support of the government, Daren Industrial Park has completed an investment of 6.8 billion yuan, of which 3.7 billion yuan has been invested in infrastructure and 3.1 billion yuan has been invested in industrial projects.

The park has successively introduced a total of 27 top 500 companies in China, such as Chilwee Group, China Gas Holdings, and ENN, with 13 enterprises having completed their projects and put them into production.

Chilwee Group has completed an investment of 1.4 billion yuan, and this year can achieve an output value of 2 billion yuan. After the project is fully completed, it is estimated that the annual output value will reach 10 billion yuan, nearly 800 million yuan will be generated in taxes, and more than 4,000 new jobs will be created.

In addition, since the beginning of this year, Hechi has taken strong measures to promote the development of the silk industry, the wine and healthy drinking water industries, the biomedicine and chemical industry, as well as the forest agricultural product processing industry, achieving steady progress.
