Donglan Longhua High-tech Industrial Park is a demonstration project of poverty alleviation cooperation between Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Guangdong province that was planned and constructed by Longhua district of Shenzhen and Donglan county of Hechi.

The industrial park serves as a way for Donglan to participate in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and as a platform to undertake industrial transfer in the Greater Bay Area. It is mainly composed of three parts: the Sanshi Town Poverty Alleviation Workshop, 13 township poverty alleviation workshops in Donglan county, as well as the Dongbafeng branch of Guangxi Vocational and Technical College.

The total construction area is about 80,000 square meters. It will focus on the introduction of enterprises in the fields of manufacturing, such as toy parts processing, plastic parts processing, parts processing, and garment factories, as well as the energy and environmental protection industry.

The total investment of the park is more than 100 million yuan ($14.29 million). After completion, it is expected to create an annual output value of 1 billion yuan, drive more than 10,000 people to work locally, and benefit more than 10,000 households with more than 40,000 people.

To date, the first phase plants of the Sanshi Town Poverty Alleviation Workshop, with a total area of 12,000 sq m, has been completed and one third of the second phase of plants, with a total area of 24,160 sq m, has been completed.
