In recent years, Tian'e county in Hechi has tapped into and utilized the advantages of its ecological resources to fully developed its ecological agriculture industry, boosting its poverty alleviation achievements and promoting rural revitalization.

Tian'e has made great efforts in expanding the scale of industries, building demonstration parks, cultivating business entities, promoting agricultural science and technology, as well as creating high-quality brands to build a new pattern of eco-agriculture development, which will help increase farmers' incomes, boost agricultural efficiency, and promote rural development.

The county has implemented precise measures in terms of policy guidance, market leadership, and financial support around advantageous industries, such as fruit, edible mushrooms, walnuts, and ecological farming. It has built a batch of modern characteristic agricultural demonstration areas with technology integration and intensive operation, yielding outstanding benefits.

At present, the county has 107 characteristic agricultural demonstration areas (parks and sites), including six at the autonomous level, five at the county level, 19 at the township level, and 77 at the village level.

The county has given priority to financial support, land circulation, and land use approval to vigorously cultivate and develop new types of agricultural business entities, such as large farms, family farms, professional cooperatives, and leading agricultural enterprises. Infrastructure like water-saving irrigation and industrial roads were also constructed to create good basic conditions for the business entities to develop industries.

Since 2016, Tian'e has invested a total of 3.16 million yuan ($448,553.81) in special funds for new agricultural business entities. To date, the county has established 253 farmer cooperatives and 251 family farms, as well as cultivated 28 leading agricultural enterprises.

The county has established an ecological agricultural development technical service team with the technical strength of the agriculture-related departments, providing agricultural science and technology demonstration, technical training, and other services through centralized training and on-site guidance. It has also strengthened cooperation with agricultural scientific research institutions and colleges in and outside of Guangxi to increase the scientific and technological level of the ecological agricultural industry.

At present, the county has organized 284 technicians to form 14 service teams. In the first half of this year, the county has carried out 237 agricultural technical training sessions at the village, township and county levels.

Tian'e also accelerated the construction of a quality-and-safety traceability system of agricultural products, as well as improved the system of agricultural product brand cultivation, review, recommendation, evaluation, and protection. Currently, 22 products in the county have been recognized as non-pollution, green, and organic agricultural products.
