Another mask factory put into production in Bama

Bama Kangda Medical Equipment Co Ltd, which has the capacity to produce 500,000 medical masks per day, was put into production on March 27, with its completion ceremony held in Bama Yao autonomous county of Hechi on the same day.

The company was established on Feb 20 in the face of the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak, with registered capital of 10 million yuan ($1.41 million). It is a State-controlled and mixed-ownership enterprise, which is mainly involved in the production and sales of medical equipment.

Three production lines for disposable medical masks have currently been put into use at the enterprise, with six more production lines to be added in the near future. By then, the enterprise's daily production capacity of medical masks will reach 1.5 million.

In addition, the enterprise boasts two pieces of equipment for ethylene oxide disinfection and sterilization, with a daily disinfection and sterilization capacity of two million masks.

Hechi is located in the northwestern part of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and the southern foothills of the Yungui Plateau.
