Hechi has performed its first power-line inspection by helicopter, marking the modernization of the local transmission system.

Hechi has many mountainous areas, and most of its transmission lines are in remote mountain regions. An average worker can only inspect 2.4 kilometers of transmission line per day in the mountainous regions. However, a helicopter can inspect 160 kilometers a day. Using helicopters can reduce labor costs and improve effectiveness.

After the inspection in Nandan, Hechi will promote the method to transmission lines in Yizhou and Dahua.
