Horticultural Expo ABC
Following is a review of the major international horticultural events held in China's mainland area since 1999. The events are recognized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH).
The International Horticultural Exposition is divided into two categories: the Universal Exposition and the Specialized Exposition.
The International Bureau of Exposition (BIE), an international organization responsible for coordinating world expositions, was officially founded in 1939 and headquartered in Paris, France.
The exposition provides every participant ample opportunity to promote itself, and present its achievements in various fields for the entire world to see. Therefore, the International Horticultural Exposition can be looked upon as the “Olympics” for the world economy, science and technology.
