The 2019 National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week will be held from June 13 to 19 at the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center, the Beijing venue of its themed exhibition.

With the theme of "promoting mass innovation and entrepreneurship and increasing developing force", the exhibition aims to serve innovators and entrepreneurs, promote the integration of various innovation elements, create a model of mass innovation and entrepreneurship, and advance high-quality growth through innovation.

It will focus on demonstrating new technology and products from innovation-based enterprises along with Beijing’s achievements in streamlining administration and delegating power to lower levels, innovative regulation, optimizing services, implementing policies, optimizing the business environment, motivating mass innovation and entrepreneurship, and building a national sci-tech innovation center.

The exhibition will also show Beijing’s high-grade, precise industrial development and hard technology incubation, the integration of science and technology and industrial entities, the internationalization of innovation and entrepreneurship, and mass innovation and entrepreneurship ecology.

According to its organizer, the exhibition will utilize the whole of Zhongguancun Exhibition Center, which covers a total area of about 18,000 square meters, including 10,000 sq m in the east area, 6,000 sq m in the west area, and 2,000 sq m outside the west gate of the exhibition center.

It is divided into seven sub-areas: Leading Innovation, Innovation Elements, Innovation Source, Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecology, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Innovation, Openness and Integration, and Science and Technology Benefiting the Masses.

More than 300 exhibitors and 130 science and technology service providers will attend the event.

The indoor exhibits cover industrial fields such as artificial intelligence, bio-health, intelligent manufacturing, new materials, intelligent transportation, energy conservation and environmental protection, and new energy. The outdoor exhibits mainly include experiential equipment such as smart street sweepers and mini go-karts.

In addition, over 30 activities will be held by universities, research institutes, sub-parks of Zhongguancun Science Park, and industry associations, including scientific and technological achievements transformation and coordination, publicity for industrial policies, and project roadshows, which will provide a platform for innovators and entrepreneurs to promote themselves, and facilitate exchange and cooperation between scientists, investors, entrepreneurs, and technical managers.
