The proposals submitted by Deng Zhonghan this year are related to grasping the opportunities of AI development and accelerating China's independent chip technology and industrial development.

In Deng's view, the integrated circuit chip is the core technology of the information industry. It is also a strategic, basic and leading industry that supports economic and social development and safeguards national security.

Besides, like aerospace, military and other crucial fields, artificial intelligence is an important driving force for the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. The bottom core chip concerns national security, public safety and information security.

"China should give full play to its 'whole-nation system' superiority, to accelerate the development of AI chip technology," Deng added.
