Qi Xuping, general manager of Zhongguancun Qingchuang (Beijing) International Technology Co Ltd, presided over the first session of the symposium. Han Yingwei, vice president of the listing and distribution service department of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and three other celebrities, on behalf of universities and financial and technology communities in Beijing and Hong Kong, delivered keynote speeches.

Liang Jiajian, the founder and director of Jiahai Asset Management Co Ltd, announced the beginning of the final round of the first "Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition".

Eight finalists, project teams who passed preliminary contests in Beijing and Hong Kong, presented their ideas, latest developments and product portfolios on the roadshow.

Lin Zhiying, chairman of China Future Investment Group Co Ltd, Fan Zhiyong; tenured professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; and others made up the panel of judges. They interacted with the project teams on their products and core technologies, business model innovations, advantages and operations, as well as their financing plans.

After a fierce battle, the Smart Personal Belongings of R. Guardian Tech Co Ltd, the Data Physical Therapy of Healertech (Beijing) Co Ltd, the Nano Stem Cell Culture Plates of Maita Biotechnology Co Ltd, the Ultra-high-speed Cancer Cell Image Detection of Conzeb Limited won the first, second and third prizes respectively. Other project teams also received awards of excellence.
