Under the support of national science and technology plans such as the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” National Science and Technology Support Program and the “Food Safety Key Technology R&D” of the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” National Key R & D Program, the Bio-Interface and Bio-Detection Research Team of the Food Science College of Jiangnan University successfully developed a rapid test kit for vitamins (including vitamin B1, B2, B6, B12, D3, folic acid and biotin, etc.).

Through industrial incubation, the rapid test kit for vitamin immunization has been successfully released into the market, and related products have been purchased by Wanfu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (US branch).

Vitamins are indispensable nutrients in the human body and also important criteria for evaluating the quality of foods and medicines, but Conventional chromatographic and mass spectrometry methods require complex extraction and purification treatment, so the rapid detection of vitamins in batch samples cannot be achieved.

The development of the vitamin test kit is based on the theory of indirect competitive enzyme-linked immuno assay (ELISA).

The kit is made up of a 96-well micro plate containing vitamin antigen, vitamin-specific antibody solution, vitamins control standard solution, enzyme-labeled secondary antibody, substrate solution and sample diluents.

The kit is convenient to operate and the detection only takes a total of 45 minutes. It can be widely used in the rapid detection and clinical diagnosis of vitamins in foods, health products, cosmetics and other products.

It is reported that the vitamin test kit has been adopted by dozens of enterprises, and the core technology has received nearly 20 national invention patents, so its market prospect is quite broad.
