Baidu is a technological company based in Zhongguancun Science Park. Its transitioning from connecting people and information to providing public services to the public is one of the major performances of Baidu.

CEO Li Yanhong, said the company will connect people with 360 industries, especially the medication and health industries.

"Baidu Doctor" signed an agreement with Tianjin Yizhitong Community Doctor Registration Platform on July 9 to establish the largest smart healthcare platform in the country. The cooperation will also fill gaps in the mobile medication market.

Both sides will create a medical information platform enabling medical service payment, medical big data, personal medical consumption, and credit loans managing services. Baidu will facilitate Yizhitong with its own mobile payment platform, which will make the traditional medical system accessible to online payment.

They will also establish a smart medical operations platform, covering all cooperating medical institutions, to provide one-stop services including registration, report inquiry, and payment.

Cooperating hospitals will connect the registration system to the new platform and submit real-time information by computer and mobiles.

The platform will include mobile medical service, personalized medical service, information services, and location services. Such services will optimize the efficiency of hospitals and improve medical standards.

Baidu President Zhang Yaqin said that mobile medication will transform the country's medical structure in the country and change the way people to visit doctors. Baidu Doctor will help residents find the best doctors nearby. Through location, searching, and advanced matching technologies, information will be more transparent to patients, reducing the resource imbalance.

Through the two-way platform for patients and doctors, Baidu Doctor will realize smart reception and guidance, help patients to get consulted, and optimize resource allocation. Both sides will be able to start innovative businesses, including disease forecasting based on medical big data.

Zhang Gao, general manger of the company's emerging business group marketing department said both sides will establish an integrated platform for Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, and single platforms for Guizhou, Guangdong, and Shaanxi. The company aims to cover every province with the largest smart medical platform in the country.

Yizhitong is the country's first smart medication service provider and gives birth to the first platform providing whole process medication services. Through self-service terminals, the company is bringing registration windows from hospitals to the community, increasing convenience for the patients.
