Q&A丨Wen Chenghui

Q: Most people could not imagine such a special app tailored for gifting. Why do you think it’s worth trying?

A: It’s an exciting idea. I used to hold that choosing a gift is a personal headache for someone; then I found it’s a real problem for almost everyone. But we still find the surprise and delight in the gift recipients’ faces, so we worked out the app to help the givers.

Q: What about Liwushuo’s performance?

A: The number of users grew slowly at the very beginning when it came out in August. Then it saw a rapid increase since it reached 100,000. Now we have more than one million users.

Q: Did you have any secret for such a dramatic increase?

A: I had my education suspended when I was a sophomore and began to have my own start-up to develop our app products, such as "Tietie QR Code" and "Tietie Postcard", which attracted a large number of users from campus and were proved to be a good try in the market. Meanwhile, we spent so much on promotion, making users have easier access to our products.

For instance, we offer gifts for those who are willing to promote our app and also bring some online test to draw users’ involvement. We are young people, and we know what our peers need.
