Zhongguancun Forum is a high-level international forum of innovation providing a platform for high-end dialogues on innovation driven economy, technology trends, and development. It is sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Beijing Municipal Government and organized by Zhongguancun Science Park (Z-Park).

Z-Park is China’s most resource-intensive area with abundant scientific and technological intelligence, where the first Chinese private technology company and first high-tech development zone were established. Z-Park plays an important role in combining technology and finance, stimulating passion for entrepreneurship, attracting talents, building public service platforms for start-ups, reforming scientific and technological management mechanism, and enhancing international science and technology cooperation. Xi Jinping, President of China, once said “Zhongguancun Science Park is the flagship of innovation in China.”

The Zhongguancun Forum, a major event in Z-Park, is aimed to become the communication and cooperation platform for companies, governments and R&D institutions from all over the world, which helps them to learn from each other and inspire new ideas. It focuses on global high-tech development, innovation and entrepreneurship and relevant hot topics, making “innovation and development” a permanent theme. Highly praised by speakers and guests, the event has already been held for seven consecutive years since 2007.

The theme of this year’s is “Ecosystem of Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Cooperation, Share and Win-win”. During the forum, speakers will share their vision on how the ecosystem works to encourage innovative factors to interact, compete and realize win-win, and to build legal systems, public service platforms, investment and financing systems that are conducive to innovation etc.
