In the park, there are approximately 200 companies, each worth more than 100 million yuan in this section and its energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of GDP is approximately a tenth of the national figure. Zhongguancun is also home to top domestic exhaust gas treatment companies, such as Beijing Guodian Longyuan Environmental Engineering Co, China Boqi Co, Tongfang Environment Co, and Beijing SPC Environment Protection Tech Co.. Zhongguancun’s accumulative desulfurization and denitration unit capacity accounts for more than 40 percent nationwide.

Exhibitors from Zhongguancun:

☆ Beijing Yuanshen Energy-saving Technology Co

Beijing Yuanshen Energy-saving Technology Co will showcase its centralized heating technology that recovers and utilizes waste gas heat. The technology has been widely used in fuel gas heated power plants, especially in regional energy centers that have an independent heat supply network. It can raise the efficiency of central heating system energy use by 40 percent, heating capacity by more than 30 percent, and heat delivery capacity by 80 percent. The technology can also lower carbon dioxide, nitric oxide and PM 2.5 emissions through condensing fumes for heat exchange.

☆ The Greentec Group

The Greentec Group will exhibit its own technologies, including activated carbon (fiber) absorption concentration and catalytic oxidation and RCO heat accumulating catalytic oxidation. They can effectively dispose of and recycle industrial waste gases harmful to humans and reduce PM2.5 emissions. They have successfully been used in shipping, petroleum and petrochemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, printing, metallurgy, building materials and electric power industries.

☆ Beijing SDL Technology Co

As a leader in environmental and industrial analysis, the Beijing SDL Technology Co will display its PM10/PM2.5 particulate monitoring system that can accurately calculate particulate concentration; its cement high-temperature gas analytic system that can continuously and accurately test kiln gas and analyze combustion efficiency and technical processes to optimize production management and energy conservation and emission reduction. More than 7,000 sets of the company’s continuous emission monitoring systems have been sold.

☆ The Sound Group

The Sound Group is showcasing its sewage treatment system for small cities and towns. This system integrates a multifunctional pretreatment pool, efficient biological rotating disc and double-effect filtration, and can be used in small water volume decentralized processing, with operational costs only 60 percent of traditional methods. It can save land use and cut investment, and more than 100 villages and towns are promoting the technology.

☆ Beijing Helee Bio-Energy

Beijing Helee Bio-Energy is showcasing its methane and electricity generation technology through the anaerobic biological treatment of chicken manure, sewage and crop straw. The methane purification station based on this technology is mobile and easy to maintain, takes up a small area, and has low operational costs. It has been used in methane projects and landfills and helps achieve great economic and social benefits. The company’s methane power generation project can supply 14 million kilowatt hours of green electricity to the northern Chinese power network, can cut carbon dioxide by 84,000 tons, and produce 7,000 solid organic fertilizers, which boosts the circular economic development.
