Kongzhong

As a leading wireless Internet company and an online game producer in China, Kongzhong (NASDAQ: Kong) is dedicated to providing Chinese mobile phone users with diversified wireless entertainment services, and large-scale online games for players around the world.

With its traditional wireless value-added business growing stably, the company is promoting their mobile-phone games. According to data from Analysis International, the company accounted for 8.89 percent of Chinese mobile-phone games in 2010, topping other mobile game companies in the nation. With the development of mobile Internet, the company has now committed itself to the research and development of mobile phone games adapted to the IOS and Android system.

Expanding into the online game field, Kongzhong purchased Dacheng Network in December 2009. It absorbed Chinese traditional elements for its online game business. Products such as Trinity Blood, Dragon, Demon Law and Kongfu Hero have gradually become players' favorites. These games are produced through independent R&D and are operated by the company itself, and they have been exported to more than 60 countries.

In October 2010, the company imported World of Tanks, a TPS online war game developed by Wargaming, a top European game company, with an exclusive operation right in China. World of Tanks was officially released in China in March 2011, and has become the most competitive online game in China. Kongzhong has also obtained the exclusive operation right for Paper Man, an online first-person shooting game developed by Gamepot, a Japanese online game producer.
