A panel of experts from UNESCO's Global Geoparks Network program made a second development evaluation of Huangshan Geopark from August 9 to 11.

The experts listened to the work report from the park's managerial committee and assessed relevant materials. They appreciated the committee's conservation and managerial work and offered more suggestions and ideas. As stipulated in UNESCO regulation, all national geoparks around the world must be evaluated every four years.

Dr Frey from the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network Bureau said that they will promote Huangshan's experience to others at next year's International Tourism Bourse (ITB) in Berlin.
