A new tourist express train from Hefei to Huangshan will operate until Oct 7, making it the fifth train designated for passengers traveling from Hefei to Huangshan during China’s Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.

The Mid-Autumn Festival and the following National Day holidays will occur at the peak of the tourism season. The provincial railway department recently started a new tourist express train from Zhengzhou to Huangshan with stops at major cities such as Shangqiu, Hefei and Wuhu in Henan and Anhui provinces.

The newly launched express train offers a three-hour ride from Hefei to Huangshan. It was a five-hour trip on non-express trains.
